The Club is not seeking to provide a facility and events to cater for 1/8th scale electric or nitro due to the proximity of residents. Council approval is for only 1/10th scale electric.
No access via the Freeway. Access must be via Yerrinbool or Bargo exits.

1/10TH SCALE ELECTRIC OFF ROAD VEHICLE TYPES
FOR 1/10TH SCALE OFF ROAD RACING CLASSES
AT SHORRCCC EVENTS
2WD Buggy
1/10 Electric 2WD Buggy is the most popular offroad class amongst racers. These cars are fast, agile and easy to maintain. They are available in self build kits and 'Ready to Runs' (RTR). Whilst RTRs are the easier and cheaper option for joining the hobby, the self build kits help you learn about how your cars goes together and and how it works.
This is by far the best class for beginners.
2WD Stadium Truck
1/10th Electric 2WD Stadium Trucks are very similar to 2WD Buggies. They are lots of fun and because of their bigger wheels, tyres and truck body, they are more 'plush' to drive. Most 2WD Stadium Trucks share chassis and suspension parts with 2WD Buggies, so they are a great second class to run with your 2WD Buggy without needing a different box of spares!
Stadium Trucks will have their wheels outside the body.
4WD Buggy
1/10th Electric 4WD Buggies are for those who like a technical challenge! These cars are more difficult to maintain than 2WD Buggies, however offer un-paralleled performance due to the power of motor driving all 4 wheels. They are easier to drive for beginners, but gennerally have a higher kit price and aren't as popular as RTRs.
We recommend delving into 4WD Buggy after you have spent some time conquering 2WD Buggy.
4WD Short Course Truck
1/10th Electric SCT is the new 'racing class' on the block. SCT is very popular as they resemble their full-size counterparts. They are available in both 2WD and 4WD, however, 2WD has become the more popular and adopted class for racing.
Short Course TRucks will have their wheels under the body.
